In our hurry to get to Spencer's and Grace's piano recital tonight, we forgot to bring a camera to record their performances, which were wonderful. So I did the next best thing and made them play again as soon as we got home so I could post them on our blog. Enjoy!
WOW! They play SO well! So fun to see your new piano! I'll have to come over sometime and tickle the ivories! Ha! Maybe a Jazzy Sesame Street number.

ReplyDeleteMae- I took lessons for about 2 years when I was maybe 9. I didn't play quite as well as Spencer, though. I have started playing again now that I can finally read the bass clef notes (I was fine with the treble clef thanks to all that flute playing in Jr. High). I don't know why I never learned the bass, though. I also didn't know how to read notes that landed above or below the staff very well. So, I guess I've been getting second-hand lessons while helping my kids practice the past 2 years. I play the super simplified hymns, but hope with enough practice I'll be able to play regular hymns and primary songs someday.
