For those of you that don't yet know, we've named our baby! That's right, the writing is on the wall...literally. Darrel and the kids all worked with me on mod podging cute paper on these letters and we hung them in the nursery by the crib. Michael will be Bryce's middle name. Michael is for his amazing birth family--his birth mom Michelle and his birth father Zack, who, for reasons too complicated to explain here, is also called Mike by his mom. Bryce is just a good name that we and the birth parents both liked and one to which Darrel and Zack both gave the Won't Be a "Beat-Me-Up" Name stamp of approval. Bryce Michael Chamberlain. Has a nice ring to it, don't you think? (That's a rhetorical question, by the way. Don't comment if you don't like it. Oh, and if you don't like the name, you have a month and a half to get used to it.)
Yeah! "Aunt" Lisa likes the name! It was my favorite out of your choices because it sounded so dignified with your last name. Happy nesting!
ReplyDeleteSeeing as you don't even know me, my opinion will not matter. ;) But I LOVE the name Bryce...it was my top choice for my last child until it actually come to naming him and then it just didn't fit. But it is an awesome name!

Glad you like the name gals! We love it, too. Funny that you didn't end up using it in the end, Kat. Our Bryce will be Bryce whether he looks it or not. It's the only name Darrel and I could agree on :)
