Happy 3rd Birthday Justin!

Justin had a wonderful third birthday filled with all the construction trucks and digging implements a boy could want.  His birth mom also brought him an obnoxious loud Irish whistle that he loves (which has been hidden for a few days while our nerves recover) and a cute pillowcase decorated by Chelsea's brother, Grant (Justin is his namesake), herself, Spencer, Grace and the birthday boy himself.  We were so glad we could share this day with Chelsea or "Chetzee" as Justin says it.  We love you!

Justin had been asking for two weeks before this when it would be his "birfday" so he could get his excavator.  His request was granted by Mom and Dad (though it wasn't as big as the house like he had wanted, but it was big enough to sit on and do some real work in the sandbox).  We put the excavator in the kitchen the night before so he could see it when he woke up.  When he walked in for breakfast he said, "Oooh!".  He got right to work with it.

After breakfast we picked up his construction birthday cake from Dick's bakery.  He had to peek at it over and over throughout the day and as soon as dinner was finished he was asking for us to sing to him so he could pull the trucks off the cake and play with them.  He wasted no time once those candles were blown out!  Happy Birthday you cute thing!  We love you!
