Darrel took Justin and Spencer to an exciting event today. One of the local fire stations had an open house and with a construction/fire truck, police car lover like Justin in the family we just can't pass those things up!
Justin had to pause a minute when they first got there to check out a backhoe in a nearby vacant lot, then it was on to the fire trucks! They got to try out the mobile command unit and see all the equipment, most importantly the hoses because that's where the water comes out. That and the sirens are the best things about a fire truck when you're an almost-three-year-old boy.
But personally, I think these two cute firemen are the best part of the tour!
I'm glad your boys were able to go! The picture of Justin and Spencer is priceless. I can just imagine that Justin will be talking about this for days....
