Happy Flag Day! Or day after Flag Day, as the case may be. Flag Day is one of those non-holidays for most people, but around our house it has great significance. It's Darrel's Birthday! We celebrated yesterday with my side of the family at our usual Sunday dinner. We had a big chocolate cake and ice cream. But today Darrel got his present--the one for which he'd been waiting and planning for at least a month. A new grill! Spencer and Justing helped him put it together. It was steak for dinner tonight, folks! Happy Birthday Darrel!

The grill does have legs, Amy. The camera was in use elsewhere by the time it was fully assembled and I am too lazy to take another photo. But it looks great and made a tasty dinner....hopefully the first of many to come!
